Margaret Whyte is a qualified solicitor with extensive experience in litigation and general legal practice. She holds a Certificate and BA (Hons) in Legal Studies with Taxation from Letterkenny Institute of Technology (LYIT), qualified as a solicitor in 2007, and joined ORT Law Solicitors in September
2024.
Over the past 20 years, Margaret has built a strong and varied foundation in practice, having worked initially in a well-established general practice in Drogheda before gaining further valuable experience in a Dublin-based firm and subsequently returning to County Louth.
Margaret specialises in litigation and advises clients on a broad range of matters, including personal injury claims, defamation, debt collection, and employment law. She also has extensive experience in conveyancing (sales and purchases), landlord and tenant matters, Wills drafting, Probate, and tax planning.
Margaret is known for her practical, client-focused approach and for providing clear, considered advice across a wide range of legal matters.
