Ann Matthews

Qualified as a solicitor in 2007, Ann has extensive experience across private and commercial practice, with particular expertise in property law. Ann advises private and corporate clients on all aspects of commercial and residential property transactions, including acquisitions and disposals, as well as commercial landlord and tenant matters. Notable achievements include acting on Ireland’s highest-value residential property sale in 2021 and on the €15 million disposal of Ireland’s oldest pub!

Ann also has considerable experience in probate, trusts, and estate planning, regularly advising clients on both contentious and non-contentious probate matters. With a strong interest in this area of practice, she provides considered and practical advice on estate planning, enduring powers of attorney, and wardship proceedings. Her experience further includes acting for a Local Authority in relation to property acquisitions and disposals, leases, licences, and deeds of dedication, as well as advising Credit Unions on residential mortgage lending.
